Shared cultures, shared communities
Our team champions intercultural understanding. We offer support and services to create equality for all.
Diversity Voice is an equality, diversity and inclusion charity based in Somerset. We work to prevent all forms of discrimination and to promote social inclusion, assisting a wide variety of groups to integrate into society.
We work across the “protected characteristic” groups according to the Equality Act 2010, and work to ensure that no one faces discrimination on the grounds of race, language, age, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnerships, pregnancy or maternity, parenthood, menopause, or caring responsibilities.
We operate as part of a large network of Welcome Hubs, providing help and support to displaced people arriving in Somerset from around the world.
We offer translation and interpretation support for individuals, schools, charities, public and private sector organisations. We also provide local schools with EAL support, together with English classes three days a week across a variety of levels.

Our Funders
Our projects are linked to our charitable objective of promoting intercultural integration and overcoming problems which lead to social marginalisation. We do this by providing support and services to create equality of opportunity and engender respect for all.
